Milestone 3 Directions

Milestone Number 3: Health, Safety and Nutrition Lesson Plan

Directions:

1. Read Chapters 12 and 21. These are good resources for you to start organizing your lesson plan.
2. Use the lesson plan template available here to create two lesson plans that would be age appropriate for your classroom

3. Create a new page to your Wiki.
4. Title the page corresponding to your topic. For example: Playground Safety
5. Using the Edit feature, on your Wiki, give a brief summary of your lesson plans.
6. Provide the resources (websites, centers, organizations, schools, etc) that helped you develop your lesson plans, and list what materials your resources gave you or mentioned they used in their facility.
7. Upload your lesson plans to the corresponding Wiki page.
8. In the class Webcourse, click on Assignments and enter the date you completed and uploaded all requirements for this Milestone.

A grade cannot be issued without this final step being completed.
