Milestone Number 1: Young Children's Health

1. Read Chapter 5 of the textbook.
2. Choose and research a condition affecting children's health.
3. Present your research using either Power Point, Publisher or any other presentation software. Your presentation should give a brief overview of the condition, signs and symptoms and management of the condition. Also, suggest any teaching modifications that would need to be made, if any. Finally, how would you as a teacher address this in the classroom, if at all.
4. Create a new page on your Wiki.
5. Title the new page of your Wiki the same as your health issue. For example: Attention Deficit Disorder
6. Using the Edit feature, on your Wiki page, give a brief summary of your health issue.
7. Upload your final project to the corresponding Wiki page.
8. In the class Webcourse, click on Assignments and enter the date you completed and uploaded ALL requirements for this Milestone.

A grade cannot be issued without this final step being completed.
